I thought AK-47s were Soviet rifles. Didn’t those go to Xe ( formerly Blackwater) along with several Apache helicopters and 7 semi trailers of cash?

No. The effort to great an Iraqi army and police force from nothing are pointless. Trainees arrive, take advantage of the free training and the free paychecks and the free food and shelter, and then skip out. They take their new weapons with them. Exactly the same thing is happening in Afghanistan, and there’s nothing Americans can do to stop it.

USA bought AK47 rifles from Soviet Union (Russia, Uzbeks, Ukrain). But now, they are ALL with Taliban! believe it or not, all the weapons america bought from the Soviet are now with Taliban.

Yet another fine example of the US of A completely screwing things up.
The problem with the US of A is that they probably thought Iraq was one of their ‘red neck’ states in some back water, like eh….. Texas!
If US of A had any intelligence they may be danger to someone. At the moment the US of A is its own worse enemy!

Sold them to the taliban most likely, they might as well give Iran nuclear war heads. Fight for the taliban, it would be much simpler.
